Alvaro Morata believes he returns to Juventus as ‘a better player’ and revealed he always had the ‘desire to return’ to the Allianz Stadium.
Juventus have brought back the Spanish striker, who spent two seasons in Turin between 2014 and 2016.
“This is a great feeling for me to return here,” he told Juventus TV. “I have always felt attached to being here and I’m happy.
“I can’t wait to be with my teammates. The first era was great, but I’m now convinced I’m a better player, and that I have grown up in many aspects of my life.
“I’m sure this will be another great journey.”
Morata, who helped the club win two Scudetti and reach the Champions League Final, returns on a paid loan with an option to buy next summer.
“I will always be ready for Juventus,” he added. “This is a great club and a family. When you are in a place that feels like home, there’s always a desire to return.”
