Roy Keane and Adrian Durham were just two of the many pundits who were left exasperated by Fulham’s defending against Aston Villa as they slipped to a 3-0 defeat.
The Whites secured an instant return to the Premier League via a play-off final win over Brentford, but it would not be a surprise to see Scott Parker’s side heading straight back down at this rate.
Villa cut the Londoners apart in just four minutes at Craven Cottage as John McGinn found captain Jack Grealish unmarked in the box with a simple ball over the top.
McGinn was at it again 11 minutes later when Grealish combined with the Scotland international down the left hand side and his simple lay-off in the box fell gloriously into the path of Conor Hourihane.
Parker looked like a desolate soul at half time, but the former England captain had his misery compounded just two minutes after the restart.
Tyrone Mings was left unmarked from a deep in swinging free-kick to slide the ball past the despairing Alphonse Areola for the third time on the Thames.
Roy Keane was on commentary duty for the game and could not believe Fulham made the visitors ‘look like Bayern Munich’.
And talkSPORT’s very own Adrian Durham responded to Villa legend Gabriel Agbonlahor in equal amounts of disbelief.

Fulham did have a goal ruled out by VAR in the second half, with Aleksandr Mitrovic adjudged to have fouled Ezri Konsa in the build-up before Bobby Decordova-Reid put the ball into the back of the net after an Emiliano Martinez mistake.
After conceding seven goals from their first two fixtures in the top flight, Parker will surely be looking to delve into the transfer market before it shuts on October 5 for defensive reinforcements.
Meanwhile, Dean Smith and his understandably jubilant players will head back to the Midlands with three points, three goals and a clean sheet.
With new signings Bertrand Traore and Ollie Watkins grabbing vital minutes on the pitch together as well, it was a pretty much perfect evening for the Villans. Next up for them is champions Liverpool. Bring it on!
